8 days holiday in France, invites you to discover some of the most beautiful regions of France: Paris, Châteaux of the  Loire Valley, Bordeaux


Day 1 Paris

Arrival in Paris and connection to the centre of the city. Hotel check in.

After a little rest, you go for a first visit to Paris.

From la Concorde to the Arc de Triomphe, walk along the Champs-Elysées, nickname as the most beautiful avenue in the world. Landmark of the city, this great artery is an indispensable tourist site of Paris for its luxury boutiques and famous monuments (the Louvre, the Arc de triomphe du Carrousel, Tuileries Gardens, the Obelisk, the Arc de triomphe).

Day 2 Paris - Tours - Villandry - Chambord - Tours

Transfer by TGV train to the country of the Loire Valley Castles. Where you'll pick up a rental car.

Explore the famous gardens of Château de Villandry made out of vegetables form a decorative kitchen.

Lunch.

Walk through the parc of Chambord, game-filled nature reserve. Visit Château de Chambord, the masterpiece of Francis I and the Renaissance. Stop in a gourmet traditional biscuiterie, what give you the energy to arrive at the hotel!

Day 3 Tours - Chenonceaux - Cheverny

Visit of Château de Chenonceau, residence of the ladies of the Court during the Renaissance.

Lunch

Visit to a unique cave/ underground site: discovery of ancient techniques of stone extraction and a magnanery.

 

Accommodation: CHATEAU HOTEL DU BREUIL ****, or LES HAUTES ROCHES ****


Day 4 Cheverny - Cognac - Pomerol - Saint-Émilion - Bordeaux

Drive through to Cognac.

Visit a large traditional Maison in Cognac, la Maison MARTELL.

Guided tour and tasting in the wonderful saleroom of Martell

Discover the birthplace of François 1er, Château Otard which saw the birth of the King of France before he left to settle in the Castles of the Loire Valley

Lunch Charentais

Afternoon departure to Pomerol

Visit the Château de Sales in Pomerol and free time in Saint Emilion,  categorize as World Heritage by UNESCO (December 1999)

Late afternoon arrival in Bordeaux

Diner suggested in Table Calvet.

Day 5 Bordeaux - Pauillac

Visit Médoc for best of the morning: château Arsac (art and culture)

Logis de France lunch in Pauillac or le Lion d'Or in  Arcins

Afternoon: visit of Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande and Chateau Lynch Bages

Cheval Museum at Château Cheval Lanessan

Suggestion: Evening discover of authentic regional cuisine at the restaurant "La Tupina."

Day 6 Bordeaux - Paris

In the morning drive to the TGV train station of Bordeaux, drop back your car and transfer to Paris.

Hotel check in.

You explore freely  or with a guide the Château of Versailles one of the most famous monuments of the French heritage. You can enjoy the richness of this place and walk in the park.

  Some rooms cannot miss:

 • Grand Apartments of the King, a succession of richly rooms decorated to the glory of the Sun King and referring to mythology and Flats of the Queen.

 • Hall of Mirrors: The masterpiece of Versailles. 17 windows opening onto the gardens are found along the 73 meters of the gallery and meet the 17 arcaded mirrors. Colbert wishing to compete with products from Venice and to create a factory in Paris to manufacture these lenses with exceptional dimensions.

 • King's Chamber which occupies from 1701 the center of the castle and the main frame of ceremonial life of the king.

 • The Queen's Chamber all in green and with the bed of canopies topped with white feathers.

 Shopping time in the center of Paris.

Day 7 Paris

Helicopter ride over Paris: Versailles and le Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace
Departure from Paris, and take off for a 45 minute flight, which you can admire the most prestigious monuments of the capital, and the Chateau de Versailles view from the sky.  You will get a certificate of baptism of air.

 Special conditions of the helicopter:

 - Maximum weight: 108 kg, maximum height: 1m80

 - Children from 5 years.

 - Arrive 15 minutes before departure

 - Each passenger must bring his passport

 - Bad weather conditions can lead to the cancellation of the flight. It may be postponed or refunded.

 - The law does not allow the overflight of Paris. The aircraft follows a flight path over the pass at an altitude of 500m which allow full visibility of the city.

 

 

 

 

- The flights were conducted in Ecureuil AS 350 which can accommodate 5 passengers - 4 rear, 1 front - and provide excellent visibility. Soundproof helmets are provided.

 - Please advise when booking of the names and surnames of all passengers, dates and places of birth and weight.

 

Then for an hour, you can visit the fabulous collections of the Museum of Air and Space and enter the cockpit of a concord.

 

 Lunch in the restaurant of your choice.

 Free Afternoon for shopping or visit other parts of Paris.

Day 8 Paris

Mounted on top of the Eiffel Tower.

Lunch in one of the restaurant point from the Eiffel Tower.

Free Afternoon for shopping or exploring at your own pace with a few special places of the "City of Light", for example, a cruise on the Seine

Evening transfer (depending on your flight schedule) to the airport for your return flight.
